Dennis Smile

Dennis Rogers, CPA, CFP®

Dennis is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Financial Planner with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Rhode Island and a Master of Taxation from Arizona State University. He established his own traditional CPA practice in Phoenix in 1983, after six years in corporate management with a Fortune 500 company. In 1992, Dennis transitioned his practice to focus exclusively on financial planning services. He has found that he is very effective helping clients with defining their goals and objectives, designing a plan of action, and implementing the plan.


Frank Smile

Frank Kirby, CFP®

Frank is a Certified Financial Planner with a Bachelor of Science in Education from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh. He moved his family from the Northeast in 1997 to Arizona where he taught United States History for two years in a public school setting. Frank entered the financial services business in 1998 with a true teacher’s heart from his experience and training in education. He really enjoys helping people better understand their financial situations, clarifying their goals, and chartering a course to achieve them.


Brent Smile

Brent Fooks, ChFC®
Senior Associate

Brent is a Chartered Financial Consultant who joined the firm in 2007 following a successful sixteen year career in real estate sales and investment. Brent is passionate about helping people meet their life goals and objectives. He acts on this passion whether he meets with people individually or in a group setting. He desires to help clients identify their goals based on what they value most and to guide them toward wise financial decisions. He then designs and helps implement a plan to meet those goals.



Diane Lloyd
Director of Operations

Diane joined Rogers & Kirby in 2013 after many years in the pharmaceutical industry in Upstate New York. As our Director of Operations, Diane manages the day-to-day operations and workflow between our branch offices and oversees our New Business and Trading departments. She works closely with our clients, vendors, and team members to coordinate efficient, timely and accurate transaction processing. Personalized service is Diane’s highest priority.



Phil Duncan
Senior Relationship Manager Specialist

Phil is a native Californian who graduated in 1989 from the Master’s College in Southern California, with a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Ministries. Phil joined the firm in January of 2000 after a sixteen year career at Federal Express. As a Registered Assistant with United Planners Financial Services, Phil is here to assist you with every aspect of your relationship with Rogers & Kirby.  Whether it involves scheduling an appointment, completing an application, or if you have questions about your account, Phil will make sure you experience a high level of satisfaction with our firm.



Alondra Bueno
Relationship Manager Specialist

Alondra joined our team in 2016. She has an Associate degree in Business from Phoenix College. Alondra brings superior customer service skills with seven years of financial background in the automotive industry. She is committed to high work ethics and excellent client relations. Alondra has future aspirations of moving vertically within the company through hard work and due diligence.



Robin Higgins
Relationship Manager Specialist

Robin joined Rogers & Kirby in 2018 bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience after 25+ years in the accounting and banking industries. She has an Associate degree in Business Administration with Mesa Community College. Robin assists in establishing new accounts and maintenance of existing accounts. Her priority is personalized, friendly and accurate assistance to each of our clients.



Victoria Kirby
Client Service Assistant

Victoria has been part of the team since 2018. During that time, she has assisted in many special projects and now serves as a Client Service Assistant. She is committed to continued personal and professional growth and strives for excellence in every aspect of her life.



Chris Zikos
Client Service Specialist

Chris joined the firm in 2016 bringing administrative and customer service
experience, as well as 25 years' experience as a business owner. She oversees the day-to-day operations of our New Business department to ensure financial transactions are processed in a timely and accurate manner. In addition, Chris performs many other support functions.


Jeff Smile

Jeff Kluve, CFP®

Jeff is a Certified Financial Planner with a B.A. in International Business from Ohio Wesleyan University. After beginning in 1998 as a stockbroker, Jeff left private practice and moved into corporate roles with national investment and insurance companies. In these roles, he became an expert on portfolio construction and risk management. Jeff spent his time meeting with financial professionals from hundreds of firms, observing how the best professionals helped their clients. He took special note of firms that were able to have a material impact on clients’ relationship with money. One of those firms was Rogers & Kirby. Jeff joined Rogers & Kirby in 2020 with a passion for helping people.



Melissa Sopwith

Executive Assistant

Melissa joined Rogers & Kirby in 2020 after a 20-year marketing career in various industries. As our Executive Assistant, Melissa supports the leadership team with executing strategic initiatives, project management, and marketing. Melissa is an Arizona native and was born and raised in Old Town Scottsdale. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from the University of Arizona, and she earned her MBA in 2003.



Karla Viana

Client Service Assistant

Karla joined Rogers & Kirby in 2020 after many years in the restaurant industry. She
is opening doors to new experiences and opportunities in the financial industry.
Karla provides administrative support to our client service team members, and she
strives to provide excellent service to our clients. She aspires to grow within the
company, while understanding hard work, discipline, and commitment are a must.
